The installer and zip file has been tested on Windows XP and scanned for viruses using Norton Antivirus 2007, AVG and Trend Microsystems Housecall. No viruses or warning were found. After installation we also scanned with Ad-aware 2007 and no instances of spyware was found.
Every wink and mood on MSN Giggles has been tested using this installer program.
Please note that you only have to install this once on every computer and you can then install any wink or mood from any pack on our website at any time.
When installing, windows will give you a message stating that the file could potentially be unsafe. This is due to the installation file not being recognised by windows and is quite common with smaller quick installer programs like this one and it is actually ok to install.
Unzip the contents of this file to a folder of your choice.
Go to the folder you unzipped the files into and double click install.exe file. It's very exciting, it flashes for a second or two and then stops flashing. It's finished.
If you are using Messenger Plus and have multiple MSN windows open, please exit all of them except one.
Open the main window (the one with your contacts in it).
NOTE: Please remember that winks and moods will only be installed on the MSN account you have open. If you wish to install them on an additional account you need switch accounts and repeat the installation process.
Double click on your wink or mood to install it.
NOTE: If you are installing moods AND using Messenger Plus!, MSN will crash once it's finished installing, but it will still be installed. Simply restart MSN and everything will be fine. For winks, you can install them with or without Messenger Plus! running with no issues.
You may need to allow connection to the Internet for the moods and winks to become available!
