The following are instuctions on how to get a Windows Live Account and download and install Windows Live Messenger (also known as MSN Messenger).
As we don't have any intellectual rights to the programs or systems involved to do this, the instructions will tell you how to do this, but all links will take you to the correct website to do each task.
If you have already completed any of these steps, they can simply be skipped.
First things first, you will need a Windows Live account. If you already have a hotmail account you don't need to worry about this step.
If can choose to use any existing email address you have of choose to create a new free hotmail address. The setup is wizard based and you just need to follow the prompts.
Sign up for a free Windows Live Account
You will need to download and install the client software now by clicking on the following link. In the Your Relationships section, click on Windows Live Messenger and then Try It. Save it to your computer and then install it.
Get Latest Windows Live Messenger
Use the email address and password created in Step 1 or your existing hotmail email address and password.
At this point you can start adding your contacts, adding backgrounds, winks, moods and chatting away freely.
